BRISBANE TO GLADSTONE RACE

The Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race is considered by the yachting fraternity and the general public to be one of Australia’s flagship ocean yacht races. The Race is an icon of Queensland and the highest profile Easter Weekend sporting event, setting sail from Moreton Bay on Good Friday.

This painting portrays two of the competitors – a TP52 and a RP100.  Both boats are using asymmetrical spinnakers and are really flying through the water.

The painting is in black and white making it suitable for any decor and is set on a copy of the navigational chart of the Gladstone area.

This painting has a “sister” – a painting portraying one of the original competitors. Both paintings can be purchased for $600.
