Chillin Byron Bay

I lived for 6 years in Byron Bay and loved the beaches and vibe of the area.

This painting depicts the “chilled” lifestyle of Byron Bay. It has the beautiful ocean surrounding the very iconic Bryon Bay lighthouse. Julian Rocks are featured in the background. The inside area reflects modern design features including roman plaster walls and ceiling and a very fashionable Boucle couch.

My abstract man looks very relaxed on the Boucle couch while enjoying a Corona Beer with the essential slice of lime. The Boucle couch has been painted with an underpaint of gel beads giving that textured boucle finish. Beads and sand have also been used for texture in the vases.

This painting is unframed and will be rolled and sent in a protective tube.
