Grey Reflections

This painting evokes that feeling all sailors feel –  the peace that anchoring can bring after a hard day’s sail.  Everything is safe and secure. Maybe there is time for some sundowners before preparing for the night watch.

These beautiful sailing boats have found safe anchorage as the ocean calms and the water is still enough to provide wonderful reflections in the fading light.
