Description
These Bahamas inspired artworks are painted on original navigation charts of the South Pacific.
The first one includes a Date Palm featuring the light and dark greens to show the depth of the fronds of the palm tree. It is painted on an original chart of Espiritu Santo Island in the New Hebridies. The chart dates back to 1949 so it has beautiful aged sepia colouring.
The second painting features a Strelitzia and shows the lovely red colour at the edge of the fronds. It is also painted on an original chart of Espiritu Santo Island in the New Hebridies. The chart dates back to 1949 and also has beautiful aged sepia colouring.
The frames of both paintings are white distressed timber and has glass protection. The price of $400.00 includes both paintings.
